Village building at 4000 Olcott will be closed to visitors for at least 2 weeks
The Village of Norridge has released a statement indicating the Village Hall will be closed from 5PM March 20th until April 3rd.
The statement also said the Village government will be available by telephone (708-453-0800) for “essential municipal administrative services”, as well as certain services offered on their website.
The Village Hall closure joins the school and library who shuttered their buildings last week. The state has since mandated the closure of schools statewide, as well as bars and restaurants for dine-in customers.
The closures are being implemented to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
The Village has also posted a bulletin of info about COVID-19, including information from the Village’s health commissioner earlier in the month about the symptoms of the virus and how it is transmitted.
